Soil Keeps Getting Moldy!

I recently repotted my cape sundew. It is potted in sphagnum moss, but it got moldy so fast! I drained the water tray, took the top layer of moss off, and sprinkled cinnamon over the top to try to prevent mold growth again. Is there anything else I can do? Should I repot again with a different soil or will she be okay?

Do you mind to post a picture of the soil?. Is the sundew placed indoors or outdoors?. It has enough airflow?.
Sharing the conditions could help to give you an answer, and make your drosera looks pretty again. 😉

Good pic!!. Is the Sphagnum has some perlite and mix is fertilizer free?.
They don't like water on their "leaves", but a tray with 1" of fresh distilled or rain or RO water is what they enjoy. Are they getting enough sunlight or artificial lights?
I'm growing mine indoors, with a fan, next to a facing East window (floridian morning sunlight), and supplemental lights until 5pm, in a soil mix of Sphagnum moss/perlite/coarse sand, all fertilizer free. I put some pumice as top dressing, on that way I avoid the fungus gnats in the soil. It is seated in a 1" of distilled water. If tray is empty I wait a day to refill the tray. Avoid to watering from the top.
Hope that helps, keep us posted. 🤞🏻

I always top dried sphagnum in pots with live sphagnum. Mold grows on the dead. My precious Great Sundew Drosera anglica CA X HI pictured grows great this way.
