Since its been slow, here are pics of my new frogs

here are some of my 2.2 group of Mantella madagascariensis, one of the two species labeled as painted Mantellas at pet stores. these are random shots, some taken through plastic so they arent the best, however i wanted some pics before turning them loose into the wilds of a planted tank. the frogs are full grown and roughly an inch long

actually Mantellas arent even related to dart frogs. they are on two seperate continants but have evolved to fill the same niche. actually PAK they are quite easy to take care of if you willing to deal with fruit flies. Dendrobates azureus get 2.5inches long or so, do fine on fruit flies and are quite bold and out in the open once they are older. my lil ones are in a bit of a hiding stage at the moment.
