Silly question that hopefully somebody here knows...

I have a couple of orchids as well as my carnivores. My question concerns getting my mature Odontoglossum to flower again. It has 4 pseudobulbs, one without a leaf, 2 mature ones with leaves, and one new one that's not quite fully grown yet. Can pseudobulbs that have already produced a flower make another flower spike, or should I not expect/try anything until the new growth matures? Can orchids handle vegetative growth and flowering at the same time?

This seems like a dumb question to me but nothing I've read about orchids has mentioned anything... I might not be looking in the right places, of course, but hopefully somebody here knows? ;)

Thanks!
