Seed question

Sundewist
Ok, I decided to plant more capensis seeds (I only planted about 20) but the thing is that ummm the guy who sent them to me... kinda used scotch tape (man... i mean man!)... so, including seeds I managed to scoop off there were about 20, so I sown them.
I was wondering, is there an effective way of... descotching them? Theres like 100 seeds on that tape, but I cant get them off... any ideas?
Also, whats the best way to store seeds?
Thanks for any help!

You could try steaming it, or misting with water, but I don't know if you could store them after that..

Might be to wet and they could germ will in storage.

Also I don't know how long they stay viable.

OK I'll try that.
I was asking about seeds in general, not just capensis off a scotch tape

Water should work just fine. I would place the adhesive side down on moist media - and wait.

Typically recommendations that I've seen are: dry and just above freezing. I've kept Sarr seeds for over 10 yrs and had great germination when stored like this.
