Seed pods darkening

Hey folks, the seed pods on my N. aristo x thor have all begun to darken in the last few days, is this a good or bad sign? The plant was fully pollinated around the very last days of July and since the flowers hung around for so long I figured everything was going well. What does this new development say to you who've had neps make seed before?

Thanks for any thoughts!

This is generally a GOOD thing. It means the seeds have matured. If the pods split when you press them, they're ready for harvesting. Otherwise, you can cover the seed head with a bag and wait for them to burst open of their own accord.
