Safe pesticide for pinguicula

Do Mexican pinguicula tolerate imidicloprid? I have heard they're sensitive to pesticides and fungicides. I have mealy bugs on a few pings. Really weird.

How bad is the infestation? Mealybugs should be easy to pick off with tweezers if it's a light infection. You could even cut off a D.capensis leaf and wipe them off with that.

I would not use pesticides; instead, wipe the insects of the leaves using a moist paper-towel.

That's certainly a novel way to treat pests. Very creative.
