S.purpurea

My S.purpurea is already browning everywhere. I mean all the pitchers are starting to brown. Is this normal? I know it might be dormancy but its browning faster than my other S.purpurea. plz tell me if this is normal. I live in Northern NJ.

As long as the central part, the rhizome, is still firm and red, it sounds fine.
