Thank you Weshy, appreciate the praise. I've used that vent x spect in some recent hybrid attempts and had successful germination. I'm collecting pollen now again from this plant, so there'll be more on the way

hcarlton, haha yes I always have something in flower , it's now spring here, I'm busy making the most of the weather by making as many hybrid attempts as I can squeeze in. Good luck with your crosses, so far all the crosses that were not made in winter have successfully germinated for myself and others that received seed. Unfortunately 95% of the attempts I made during the winter months were failures, and there were many good ones with nice parents :-(

try using some maxsea or equivalent fertilizer on your vogelii directly into the pitcher, it will speed things up substantially

I'm really fond of this plant, the pitchers are narrow front on and quite wide side on and the mouth is elongated.
