Red Bellied Watersnake

I was cleaning out my kingsnakes tank the other day when I heard something moving in the leaves. It was a Red Bellied watersnake. I caught it and of course I took some pics.

Yeah, I know they love having a metal hook yanked around their necks and being held up the air while they wiggle trying to get away...and being stuck in a box and poked at so they'll strike....they all LOVE that.

I still wouldn't have touched it with my hands, though sence ozzy always talks about snakes I think he has one of those snake sticts I saw in florida.

If you look on the first video after he strikes, you'll see some snake spit. It looks some much like venom.
