'Missed the last post. Those flowers on the "Buru Oil Fields" B. guehoi are certainly nice. 'Makes me realize that I've let my efforts completely fall apart. 'Time to plant some seeds!
I need to get another Buru plant established so I can make seeds...the one died back but has a sprout coming off the old stem, but I need another. Problem is all the other things taking time, no time yet to go back and start new batches (especially for localities that haven't yet decided to sprout or flower for me).
Better shot of the "dark' liniflora...and as it self-pollinates I'm even more confident now that it is, in fact, liniflora...or an undrescribed related taxon possibly B. liniflora "Dark flower, Kingston Rest" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Both the aquaticas next to each other; I'm holding the fine form B. aquatica, fine form and robust by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
And, slightly ticked because there's only one and it will absolutely require cross-pollination, but...my pilbarana has FINALLY shown flower bud development. This was slightly before that B. pilbarana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Shortly before repotting... B. gigantea by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
During...and afterward they do wilt and sulk for a bit, but about 2/3 of them survive it and bounce back within a month. I did resprout several gigantea though so I can, one, get another to make seeds with, but also two, replace this one if it fails B. gigantea by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Also repotted both the hybrids, and...pretty sure I lost one of them. But plenty of seeds to restart from too B. lamellata x gigantea by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr B. lamellata x gigantea by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
