Question

Is it too late to plant Devil Claws and does the type of soil influnce the type of seedlings or does it not? Just asking.

As long as its warm its never too late. The soil influence does NOT affect. I have mine growing in miracle gro and there was a thread or several post in a thread about the soil. Tap water/fert. will NOT harm them either. These are almost complete opposites of sarracenia, except the killing insects part, and the full sun/ heat part. They also do not require dormancy.

Thanks and I was wondering about that. Will they survive the winter if I plant them before blooming time to come up next year? I think I might have some seedlings that looks like pictures growing here.

Depends if your winters warmish, but since Georgia has freezing temps... idts.

Thanks and I could start them in a 5 gallion bucket in the basement here.
