Pruning flowers

I was told by larry I have a flower bud, is it bad?? and if it is, how do i prune it, ie were to cut etc and, what can i do with the bud ie seeds

its not really all that bad, but it does take away the plants energy. wait till it gets about 3-4 inches high and cut as low as possible. now if you were to let the flower stalk grow, it would get about a foot high and flower. but it would be best to cut it.
