Propigate from roots

Can VFT's be propigated from root cuttings?
I know they can from leaf pullings, but can a severed root propigate a plant?

Speaking of propagating a vft, does anyone have a video of them doing it? My Venus fly trap has seperated into Two individual traps within one pot without me doing anything but taking care of them.

Video? Tips? This is the first time i have ever tried this, and i want my plant to live
