PROPER PLANTING DEPTH

Yea, it's me again with another silly question.

I just got some bare root VFT'S

I planted them to just cover what was white.

Is it better to error slightly on the higher side rather than
too deep?

Also, is there really a correlation to depth and how much or how big traps get. Will it stunt their growth if planted too deep?

Thanks,

Hi

I'm not sure. When I got a bare root flytrap, I planted it the way you did. about 3 weeks later, It died from fungus nat larve. and possibly from a wrong soil mix. they look like little white bald worms about a half centimeter in lengh. I don't know if you should, but you might try planting it a little deeper than the tip of the white stuff .(the riozome) (spelling?) hope I could help
