Propagating with the flower stalk

Anyone else tried with a flower stalk with flowers which were already opened but not successfully pollinated? I just did...and it did not produce any plantlets.

With dews the stalks work best if the flowers have not yet opened. Haven't tried it yet with VFT's.

i have had lots of luck with marston dragons, i have found strikes on the flower stalks while still on the plant
