I got seed from these a few years back as extras in a trade, and never thought much about them. They supposedly required wet, calcareous conditions, which I only provide for Mexican Pinguicula, and these are supposedly polar bear cold hardy, zone 3-7. I set them up separately and have grown them like weeds. Last fall I figured "What the hell!" and put this one in the bog to see if it could live without calcium. One season doesn't equal success, but this looks pretty good. But I just discovered the most interesting thing about these. I had them filed away in my memory as "from somewhere in Poland". Well, it turns out that "somewhere" is pretty easy to determine, since there's only 1 known population in Poland. Here it is:
