That's true DM, these look very similar to prosthetic legs used by amputee runners. I was reading an article somewhere, where competitions are caught in an ethical debate about them.

Some are so efficient that some out surpass human legs and actually give runners advantages compared to their two human legged counter parts.

Post some pics when you get them ak.

Thats where I recognized them from.

I could understand how it would increase their natural abilities if they still had the legs.

Well at least I know if I loose my legs, Ill have alternatives. Heck, If I lost from the shin down, I could just attach some of these suckers.
