portable DVD

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good portable DVD player or what to look for? My wife & daughter are looking to get one because they're stranded in my mother-in-law's house in northern Vermont and neither copes well with a lack of electronics. I swear they aren't related to me.

any of the big brands. sony, panasonic, philips, etc.

everyone i've ever had has broken when i dropped it...

We got a double screen deal that you put on the back of the front seats. Polaroid something or other. It can be used inside the house too, screens are small but work well on trips. Worth every penny on the trip from Ill. to Florida and back. Probably saved those kids lives !
