That one's a beauty. I'll try and get an entry but it might be scraping the bottom of terrarium so to speak. :0o:

lol Mass, of course i know the rules.....
after all, i was the maker of this contest on this forum... or have you forgotten as of late :P

lol.. that wasn't directed at you bro. Neither of those comments were actually. And no sir, I have not forgotten that you are the man, and I am just an apprentice. :hail:

ok straying off of topic here :P
Anyway, will hope to have an entry up here shortly either tonight or tomorrow night....just debating and waiting for them to finish developing

Fusca!

I have mixed feelings about what I think of this species,

but regardless, that is a terrific example of a fusca. It's got great olive color green

Looks sticky..
The pitcher coloring reminds me of maxima kind of. Love the peristome..

The reason it reminds you of maxima, is because its in that same group, very very closely related...and yes, it is quite sticky, the tendril had several drops of nectar all around it until it had to move the pitcher out to get a photo of it since it was being bear-hugged by a N. ventricosa 'Denver' and a N. x'Splendiana' with a little awkward groping from a jacquelineae :P

Saw this today! Just opened. There's still month left in this January!
