Pitcher not opening completely?

Hey so i got this nepenthes (rokko x boschiana) x veitchii first week of October. It finally gave me its first pitcher, about 5 days ago it opened but the lid seems way lower than any of my other plants is this normal it was a slow opening but the lid has been at this height going on 3 days maybe 2. Should i be concerned or do some lids just stay this low on pitcher because i would like to throw a single bloodworm in there. Thank you and happy holidays to all.
