Irish Moss peat and perlite

Or

John Innes No1, topped with sharp sand or grit to stop leaves getting fine soil in their pores

Or

John Innes No1, with sharp sand in the mix

Will either mix work on this plant...

I use 100% live sphagnum. They grow well in it AND it really helps with keeping the hibernacula from rotting during the winter.
