In the past couple days my attempts to upload pictures from the computer to Photobucket have failed, with an error message about a network error. I can still upload them through the bulk uploader approach, but was wondering what changed. Why can't I upload them as I had?
Huh...that's happened to me and persisted for about a month last year before i could upload anything to the site. It's really annoying, no idea how to fix it though...

try these first:
enable javascript on your browser
Mozilla Firefox
1. Select Options from the Tools menu
2. Click on Options
3. Click on the check box "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable Java" Click OK.
4. Refresh the page.
Clear internet cookies and temps
1. Tools --> Clear Private Data
Javascript was already enabled and I cleared the cookies and temp files. There was no private data option. That's as far a I got for now. Still no change. Maybe I need updated things. For now, though, the bulk uploader still works. Thanks for providing the link. Photobucket also has a forum. So I'll try asking them directly.
