PH Dye Indicator For Tissue Culture

Hello,
I wanted to know if anyone here had any experience with using a ph indicator dye in their TC media. More specifically, if anyone has used bromorescol green or purple. If so, are there any ill effects and at what concentration.

I've stayed away from the indicator dyes in recent years, since they haven't been that terribly accurate in the past; and there had been some talk that cultures could be affected . . .

That is what I thought. I am just use to seeing red media, phenol red, in culture media and it is not often I use clear media, unless in serum free cases. Glad I asked before I tossed some on for an experiment.
