The 2nd part of the radio talk has lost my vote for this candidate. He obviously has no idea what we are fighting over there in the middle east.

Oh and BTW, it's not a cross in the background, it's a shelf/cubby department. I understand that working in mainstream media doesn't take much intelligence, but it's ridiculous that they call that a cross.

Nothing is accidental in those videos. They select the background imagery VERY carefully, and have even framed the picture so the "cross" is nicely placed to balance his head. Believe me, the detail that is put into the framing of those things is mind-boggling.

My question is, however, who cares if there was a cross there? Why is that bad?

I honestly don't believe it was shot like that on purpose to look like a cross. It's more so coincidental. But regardless is right, this man has been very open about his beliefs. He even states them in the advertisement! It's not like it's some surprise he has faith in Christ.
