Paphiopedilum Saint Swithin Inverness (rothschildianum x Philippinense)

This is an orchid I’ve been growing for about 5 years. It’s a reliable bloomer. About a month or so ago I decided to divide it. At the time there was no indication of flower buds. As soon as I divided it both plants sent up spikes. Both spikes are going to have 4 flowers in bloom at the same time. The lateral sepals are a little over 6 inches long.

I wasn’t paying enough attention and didn’t get all of the flowers facing the same way. Oh well, I’m not got to a show anyway.

Growth conditions are intermediate to warm, light is low to medium, no fragrance. These orchids require low TDS water. It’s in a cypress chips growing medium.
 
Very nice! I've killed any paph or phrag I've tried. In my case, the water regimen is the issue, I'm sure/
