Late to the party, but we'll try to add some stuff as quickly as possible. Up for auction is a Small Potted Lightning-Bolt Jewel Orchid (Macodes petola). We have been growing these terrestrial orchids for a couple of years now, and they are about as easy as they get. We've grown them in the greenhouse, in a terrarium with Red-eyed Treefrogs, in a vase in a windowsill...you name it! As the name implies, the golden veins on these guys look like someone poured gold dust on them. We've never seen a plant sparkle and shine in good light like these guys do! Yes, they flower, with cute little racemes of white flowers. But the leaves are what these are all about...no need to wait for flowers! Plant will be shipped potted in pure NZ LFS.
