Like i read in another thread about growing mexican pings in crushed coral. Is it becaus they apriciate calcium?

P. gypsicola loves gypsum so if you have some, no problem for trying.

Have a lookhere :
Postcard N°3
and here :
_Pinguicula_gypsicola_

A lot of Mexican Pinguicula grow on gypsum or calcareous hills, cliffs, most support Ca without problem few prfer the usual peat mix or another "acidic" mix.

Hi. Thanks very much. I guss it is worth to try in regular medium and gypsum and see what comes up beter.
