P.gypsicola in real gypsum

Hello. I have a qustion pleas. As i know P.gypsicpla grows in gypsum rocks in its natural habitat. Do you think in cultivation it can benefit with the plant instead of growing it in peat? Like i read in another thread about growing mexican pings in crushed coral. Is it becaus they apriciate calcium?

P. gypsicola loves gypsum so if you have some, no problem for trying.

A lot of Mexican Pinguicula grow on gypsum or calcareous hills, cliffs, most support Ca without problem few prfer the usual peat mix or another "acidic" mix.
