It says to wet the media on the instructions. I've never fertilized Nepenthes using the media before. I think a foliar feed applied to the leaves would be better, or you could try adding food to the pitchers.

I prefer 30:10:10 fertilizers, especially on seedlings and younger plants -- foliar; or through the compost . . .

I'm going to mist the fertilizer on the leaves.
