only 5 leaves at a time?

Okay, so I have had my bical for about a year now, (maybe 11 months) and about 10 months of growth but, it has always seemed to keep only 5-6 leaves on it. The leaf span has doubled and it is pitchering, but why can't it keep the oldest leaf?

Most lowlands do this under lower humidity. Don't fret, it probably doesn't have "Bicalcarata Fever".

You should be glad you have a N. bicalcarata.
