Ohio bog trip

NickHubbell

It’s a trap!
Went to visit a bog here in Ohio. Been there many times in the past. Unfortunately, had been 10 years since last visit.

There is a lot more overgrowth than I remember.

Anyway, a few bad cell phone images. My dslr camera fogged up.

Drosera rotundifolia had flower stalks up. Mostly spent blooms. Didn’t get a good photo of the stalks. Very dry looking tentacles.

Sarracenia purpurea. Not as many as I remember. Didn’t see the ones, from the past, that grew along the boardwalks.
