My capensis is even more propagative than normal!



 
Looks like someone is going to have lots of little baby capensis.

I remember when I had this issue. I now have too many baby capensis. :-))
 
i once had a stalk that split not once. not twice...but 3 times. its not overly common but its not rare either. one member had his stalk split into 8!!

I have many of those... Many of the ones I sell are that as well. The trait does follow with seeds as well. (maybe not 100% I've never kept track... but it does follow for sure to some degree) I think it's neat :)

dude how old is your capensis, all the one i've owned are like half that size

I bought/saved this cap last year from my local nursery chain. I grow it permanently outside with my VFTs and it does incredibly well. During winter, the leaves shortened quite a lot, but now they're coming back with a vengeance. The coloration on this one is really nice.
