That's what I was thinking. I'm interested to see what differentiates this new taxon from N. bongso and N. ovata, two taxa that McPherson remark are very closely related in his Field Guide to the Pitcher Plants of Sumatra and Java and whose ranges reportedly overlap in North Sumatra.
