New plants from basal shoots

I decided to start another strand as a continuation from

Basal shoots - crazy growth .

This is what I do to the gracilis...

Step 1:
Break a basal shoot from the base of the plant.

Step 2:
Plonk it in water. No rooting hormone used.

Step 3:
Wait and it will become like one of these.

I haven't had the chance to try on other species but for those who would like to try, remember that this works because <span style='color:red'>gracilis roots very easily in water.</span>

wow thats pretty neat, gotta try that

my gracilis is about 2 1/2 ft tall with about 4-5 babies around it, i just repotted, growing a bit slowly now =/


mine arnt as green as yours, mine are more darker
