New Growshelf

I recently (over the weekend) put together my new grow shelf. I plan on growing CP's other than Nepenthes, but there will probably be a few Nepenthes anyway. All further updated will be added to my photo tread here: http://www.terraforums.com/forums/general-discussions/139506-photo-tread.html

I currently have 5 new bagged up ant plants from wistuba and some other CP's in there.

I know it's just mylar, but I find all the light color/reflections in your first photo to be quite beautiful!! My weirdness aside, it sounds like you're headed down a great path to awesome plants. Also glad to hear the ant plants are catching your fancy--we need more folks playing with that group. They're pretty cool. Any Lecanopteris in the group?

Thank you for the kind words, I too find the reflective insulation quite pretty haha! I agree more people should keep ant plants, I actually was considering giving these away because I ran out of room, but instead created this new setup.

At the moment I don't have any Lecanopteris but I do plan to get one or two. Im going to be ordering more and plants from wistuba in the spring. I'm gunning for the cheaper ant plants, as species like lamii are just too much. Do you have any Lecanopteris available? I like the ones that stay green, but the ones that turn darker are also cool!

Great looking grow rack. Mine looks very similar to yours. I just need to post updated photos of mine since I have switched to the reflective mylar bubble-wrap material. I too put a layer down onto the shelves and find that it helps catch water drips from falling on the lights below - very helpful indeed!

If down the road you're able to fruit your plants, hit me up. I'd be happy to swap.

I grow lecanopteris!! Love them. Also grow solantopteris as well with some myrmecodia. They can easily be grown with nepenthes
