New Frog help

Hi all,

I just got a new guinets tommato frog. He is doing fine except for a bump on his bottom jaw. I think he hit it against the side of the tank at the pet store, but it could be a bacteral infection. In either case, im looking for some remidys. Im taking him to the vet on monday but if anyone whos had frogs before knows how to treat either of these ailments, help would be apreciated.

I would recommend you fid a herp vet and have them diagnose and treat it. There are just too many variables to go by with frogs in most cases. It may be a bump or a bacterial infection or a fungal infection or a parasite. And all are going to require different treatments, the latter 3 being items only a vet can get you (like anti-biotics and anti-fungals...)
