New camera

so, yea, i finally broke down and got one.  buying it from my g/f, jessica, for a song, and maybe a dance.  it's a sony dsc-t1 5.0 mp, 3x optical zoom, carl zeiss vario-tessar lense (which i guess is good?!).  she included a 1 gb memory card, and a case with it.  ut claimed to focus down to 1 cm from an opject, so i had to try it out!

i know this isn't a cp flower, but the pict came out good!

Beautiful! I love macro photography...especially of the 'dews. Nice to see those gooey tentacles just waiting to snag a meal.

by the way, i've been meaning to ask you... i keep passing an exit for "meadowview" in virginia. is that the same "meadowview"?
