Nephentes Black bottom

Long story short this was a nephentes I had neglected but now that it’s in perfect growing conditions it grew well out of the seemingly dying part. Is the black a problem since it was almost a dead plant or is it a natural occurrence?

Btw I lost the tag. Anyone have a guess ID on this one

The black part is fine, that's just the color the old leaves will take when they age and die off. You've got a glabrata there, which is a nice species.

It's just old leaves dying back, perfectly normal. The portion of the stem below that leaf will also darken and become woody when the leaf dies back.
