Nepenthes x China ?

Hi.. I ordered a variety pack of nepenthes a couple months ago and I got a Nepenthes named Nepenthes x China.. Does anyone know if it is a hybrid ? If so with what?

I'll post some pics of it along with some other nepenthes I've been growing.

If you can trace it back to Bruce Bednar, it may be the hybrid Nepenthes x "China Khasman" (khasiana x mirabilis China). The only Nepenthes native to China is N. mirabilis, but from what I understand, it is not very variable there and your plant is probably an artificial hybrid.

I agree it does look like a N. Mirabilis. I just wish I knew if it where a hybrid or not just for confirmation. It's been kinda bugging me lately haha I want to know how the upper pitchers will look or if these are the upper pitchers. Also I have a quick question if you could answer for me.. If I get a cutting from a plant, it will most like be an adult plant but will the first leaves produce upper pitchers ? because that where the plant left off.

If the tag that came with the plant had an "x" between Nepenthes and China, then whoever sold it to you is stating that it's is a hybrid.

Yes it did have an "x" .. But I'm just not sure what the parent plants are

This is the question I was answering:
"I just wish I knew if it where a hybrid or not just for confirmation"
and so I was confirming that it does appear to be a hybrid, given how it was labeled. Unless the seller can tell you that, you will likely never know for sure. You can guess, but without accurate pedigree data, you can't be sure of anything.

It could well be a mirabilis X Mirabilis, similar to what people do with alata (I.E Alata Luzon X Alata Striped), as mirabilis crosses are not uncommon (I.E Mirabilis Thai X China say), otherwise (and more likely) the dealer did not know the name of the plant and just decided a hybrid name is easier.

Mirabilis is very variable so their ID can be tricky (I.E Globosa, Thai or echin, 3 varieties I would call very different to the typical).

I agree that it's a strange name on the label but, the plant just looks like N.mirabilis.

Thank you all.. I very much appreciate the help.
