Is it hard to grow?

It is generally considered one of the hardest Nepenthes to grow, or at the least most of the available clones are difficult to grow. It is a very expensive plant, and one needs a very dedicated (and usually expensive) setup to grow it well. However, some people do manage to grow it in more extreme conditions. I believe it hates anything stagnant.

Going to take a wild guess: 1. spectabilis x ventricosa or reverse, 2. occasionally on eBay or various CP stores, 3. stick it in a bright, humid location.
