Yeah, I don't understand why people don't like upper pitchers compared to lower pitchers. And I thought it was the other way around with fusca and maxima.

RE Uppers VS Lowers: it depends on the species. Some species have amazing upper pitchers (think N. lowii, for example) and others have much more interesting lower pitchers (like N. singalana) so you can't generalize.

Seriously, you need to see that pitcher in person to really get an idea of how RED it is. And its not small either - its about 8" tall.
