Nepenthes Sanguinea

Here are some recent shots of the sanguinea we got in July. We kind of screwed up and sunburned it initally, killing the pitchers it arrived with. But, a few months later she has decided to send up some basal shoots which have now started to pitcher.

Glad it's pitchering for you, but it could most definitely use more light. Very hard to damage sanguinea with light, I grew mine full sun outdoors when I first got it.

Unless you were also losing leaves, the plant was just dropping pitchers due to adjusting to its new environment, rather than excessive light. It's normal for Nepenthes.
