Nepenthes pitchers dying..

I bought a couple nepenthes online a couple weeks ago and the pitchers are browning and dying. Any tips would be helpful. I live in Chula Vista, Ca very close to San Diego, Ca. The weather is beautiful and I tend to have to water the plants nearly every other day because the moss dries a bit.

Any drastic change in environment will usually trigger a nepenthes to abandon its pitchers. It probably just needs time to adjust before it puts out new ones that will last.
