Nepenthes macfarlanei from NE origins?

I just ordered an N. macfarlanei from Native Exotics. From the research I have done about the plant (which seems to be quite uncommon), there are clones out there that are more likely to be N. macfarlanei x sanguinea. It seems that these clones originated from Borneo Exotics, which supplies NE. It's a shot in the dark, but I was wondering if anyone might perhaps know of the origins of the N. macfarlanei being sold from NE.

Is there a reason you didn't simply ask Ryan??

Ryan quite clearly stated that their clone of N. macfarlanei is both new in cultivation and unique to NE...he always gives the source for his plants. If he doesn't say it's from BE, it's not from BE.

What happened to TF's "no vendor by name" clause though? Am I missing something?
