Nepenthes in a 2in pot with basals forming?

Just feel like sharing how my first nepenthes ever is still in its 2 inch pot and now has 2 basals forming but i do know its time for a repot based on the water intake and spaghnum decomposure.. N alata

This is my first ever nepenthes which i got last year and never repotted and its in pure spaghnum moss from the looks of it. But when i got it it was part of a cp set of 5 plants and i was more focused on the vfts sarracenias and a sundew and didnt know about the humidity requirement and it didn't produce a pitcher till like 4 months of me having it it was just not happy and now its going nuts cause i focus on nepenthes and have it in my setup with my other neps.

Not alata, it's x "ventrata" (which is actually a graciliflora x ventricosa cross, doesn't have alata in it at all). Probably will appreciate a repot, but these can last a long time in a fairly small pot. If the sphagnum is breaking down rapidly there's probably a water quality or fertilizer issue that needs addressing that would make it grow faster once fixed, even in the small pot.

Oh its not breaking down rapidly it was just sent potted in that 2 inch pot and was tiny and the spaghnum wasn't super fresh lookinng also i thought it might not be an alata due to seeing pictures of actual nepenthes alata online. I never fertilize and only used distilled water until recently when i got a tds meter and my tap water reads at 32 so i still use distilled but ill use tap aswell, and some neps and my pygmys i use tap more as i got them here in nyc and thats what they were given.
