Nepenthes cuttings methods

I like to pot them in pure perlite and then sit the pots in a half inch of water. That seems to keep them moist enough without too much of a risk of rot

I just stick cuttings in damp sphag (make sure you have at least one node buried). I don’t pack the sphag tightly. Then put the plant — pot and all — in a clear plastic bag. Blow up the bag like you would a balloon and tie it off. Or, if you have one of those plastic containers many grocery stores as well as Sams and Costco sell cooked rotisserie chickens in, you can put the potted cuttings in there. Place the “nursery“ in a warm brightly lit area. No direct sun. Check the media intermittently to make sure it isnt drying out.
