nepenthes bical basal shoot or invader plant?

in the photo just under the pitcher there seems to be a little sprout.....i didn't think the bicals did basal shoots or at least never heard of it. But how did an invasive seed make it inside a 90% sealed terrarium?

Some random weed seed or something in the media sprouted. It happens.
It looks a little on the wet side, looks like there is some algae starting up.

yeah....i trusted someone else to water the plants over the weekend and they went a little overboard.
