Nice! I wish more of my Nepenthes were big enough to feed with Osmocote. I am making do with Maxsea for most of them.

Thats great. By fed do you mean by way of placing the osmocote in the substrate or into the pitchers?

Thanks. I just dropped a pellet into each pitcher.

I feed my Nepenthes with (expired) fish food pellets. It seems to work pretty well and I can cut the pellets in half or even powder them for the smallest of plants.

The expired part isn't intentional, but my dad has a little stockpile of these from his saltwater aquarium days.

What you don't see in Kevin's photo is that Kevin has tragically fallen victim of his own spectacular success, and is trapped in the rightmost pitcher, center. If you examine the pitcher closely, you can just make out a shadow of two hands pressed against the pitcher interior, desperately seeking a way back out. Alas, poor Kevin - we knew him well! (yes, I know its a misquote)

I use nutricote (just because that what I have) and I do see some same results.

How much do you put in at that size, Kevin? Have seen great color and leaf jumps with mine, but I just started collecting this year, and don't have anything big yet.

I bought my Osmocote from a carnivorous plant vendor online cause i don't want the huge bottle.

Here's another plant that is doing amazing.

Here is my experience with Osmocote:

I haven't noticed that much of a difference in leaf size but it looks like it helps from the increase in pitcher size.

The Osmocote that I have typically used for Nepenthes seedlings was 19-6-12, placed in the media; though yours should be suitable . . .
