For Trade Nepenthes adnata pollen

I have what I believe is a Nepenthes gracilis obtained from a fellow trader some years ago, it is vining and the vine is about two feet long and I assume contemplating flowering. When and what sex it will be I don't know. But if you want to send some my way in case it should flower and be a she, that would be ok. I'd keep it in the fridge till then. Might be interesting. A cross between Nepenthes gracilis and Nepenthes adnata could result in an unusual pitcher plant with unique characteristics:
  • Nepenthes gracilis
A medium-sized, fast-growing tropical pitcher plant with slender traps that are light green with red speckles. The underside of the pitcher lid has an uneven layer of wax crystals that helps trap insects.

  • Nepenthes adnata
A small tropical pitcher plant with speckled pitchers that have reddish-purple blotches. The peristome, or lip, is usually dark purple and the inner pitcher surface is white to light green.

  • Possible hybrid
The cross between these two species could result in a plant with pitchers that have interesting details and are unique and charming Which pretty much tells you nothing. But what the hey. In the first pic you can see the whole vine, in the second and third you can see the plant though the pot it's in is kind of hidden. In the forth and fifth you can see some uppers, and in the last two a bit more detail. Disregard the larger pitchers with bright red peristomes, that is another plant.

Heres some pics of my adnata. It does have lots of red and really dark purple. I love the black stem it has. I can get you some pollen. I hope your gracilis is female and flowers soon. That could be a nice hybrid! @pearldiver DM me your mailing address and I'll get some sent to you.
