Nepanthes alata

I have nepanthes Alata that is around a metre tall and is still just growing upwards but it has now no way of supporting its self and I would like it to hang rather than grow straight upwards.
What should I do?

You can support it with something, or let it lay down/sag over (if the vine is flexible enough to allow it). Sometimes letting the vine fall will encourage a basal growth and then you can cut off the vine (for cuttings) and start the main plant over at a more manageable size.

Thank you

More than likely it's a "ventrata," not alata, especially if it managed to get even that tall without falling over.
