NASC Head of Conservation in the News!

PlantAKiss

Thanks to our persistently conservation-minded Mark Todd, the plight of Sarracenia has been brought to public attention yet again!

Mark can tell you more, but he met with a reporter to talk about The Green Swamp, Sarracenia, conservation and NASC.

The article ran in the Wilmington Star News today. The article and a "pitcher" of Mark with beautiful S. flavas can be seen here:

Hopefully as more and more people are made aware of this situation, respect for wetland areas will increase causing a reduction in the destruction of such beautiful and valuable lands.

Follow Mark's lead...don't let an opportunity pass to bring up conservation of wetland habitat and how important it is to our (and Sarracenia's) future! A friend, a club, a reporter...spread the word. :)

Way to go Mark!

Tell us about the trip to the Swamp with the reporter.

This is great work, and our heads should all be bowed to Mark for a moment. He's been contacted by several people people that saw the article with some projects involving cooperation with NASC. It's a very exciting time, and there should be some great things occurring the near future.

Way to go, Mark!

xvart.

Mark has been getting VERY good response to this article and receiving contacts from other conservation organizations. This is going to be very beneficial for NASC and other groups. :)
